NCAA Track & Field Finals 2011

I was lucky enough to fly out to Des Moines, Iowa with the University of Oregon Track & Field team to film the NCAA Track & Field Finals. I had a blast filming some amazing athletes, dodging lightning bolts, and avoiding flash floods.

While filming, there were moments of inclement weather. One second it was 95 degrees and sunny, and then in minutes, the sky would darken, lightning and thunder would take over and delay the races and field events.

The last day was perfect and the University of Oregon track team even had a few first place finishes. Overall they took second place. The team, the fans and the coaches are thrilled and it just makes editing easy.
